Assistant Professor, Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture
Ph.D. - Texas A&M University

Brings her expertise on riverine and fish ecology to the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture. Her dissertation and post-doctoral research focused on the evolutionary origin and ecological relevance of fish-forest interactions in South American wetlands. Drawing on her experience in the tropics, she seeks to explore the value of floodplain forests for aquatic biodiversity and fisheries productivity in the Southeastern USA and globally. Findings from her research will support floodplain restoration and climate change resilience initiatives.
