Brings significant experience as a registered architect with over 30 years of architectural practice in commercial, historic, and civic projects (including the 'steel and glass' entry canopies for the Wash DC Metro transit system). He also studied art at the Corcoran School of Art and the NY Art Student's league. His scholarly research focuses on America's first architect: Benjamin Henry Latrobe (architect of the US Capitol). His digital restoration studies have been featured on PBS programs and the CBS Sunday Morning program and are also included in the Library of Congress and the AIA Octagon Museum permanent collections. He will play a key role teaching our History/Theory courses and design studio courses.
