Brings experience in the profession as a registered architect in Uruguay, SA. Her Masters and current research examines how architecture, urban design, and community development can help to alleviate environmental justice, food insecurity, and address informal urban issues in small rural communities in the US (Mississippi) and in Latin America (Uruguay). Her unique field work will incorporate emergent digital fabrication technologies (including 3D printing) in participatory design processes to engage with Mississippi and Uruguay disadvantaged communities. She will play a key role teaching our Structures courses and design studio courses along with a conducting research in the school's Carl Small Town Center.
